Did you know the old-school “digicams” (our mom-cameras from the 2000’s if you’re my age! 🤣) are making a come-back?!! With the rise in prices with film & film processing, people are getting back into the basics with these pre-phone cameras.
Sometimes, as a creative, I need to find something a bit different to shoot with. Creating that sense of fun from when I first picked up a camera in childhood.
With the advances in technology, our phones and cameras can create such sharp, in focus, very life like images. Sometimes going back to the older cameras can renew your mind and souls and creativity.
I urge you to dig out those old cameras in your basement or junk drawer and play around with them.
I plan on purchasing different point and shoot cameras from the 2000’s over the next few years to experience the nostalgia of my creative beginnings. And hey, if you happen to have an old camera that you want to sell, I may be in the market in the future!
